Telescope

In telescope past, people used to believe that the world is flat instead of round. they also had no concept of the stars and planets. Galileo was the first person who comes up with an invention that brought a revolutionary change. he invented a telescope in the year 1610. the invention of galileo changes the concept of people. it opened new paths for scientists to observe space and to study the heavenly bodies in a different way.

TYPES  of telescope

Optical telescopes are of two types.

Refracting telescope 

                        

A simple refracting telescope is designed in such a way that it consists of a long tube and there are two lenses attached to both ends of the tube. the end which refracts the coming light is known as the objective lens. the image is formed on the other end and that end is known as an eyepiece. 

REFLACTING TELEESCOPE 

                            There are two part of a reflacting telescope: a larg concave mirror and eyepiece. Both of these parts are help by a tube. The light is reflected in two way one is which the objective mirror directly converges the light onto the eyepiece directly and the second is when the light passes onto the other reflecting mirror before getting reflected to the eyepiece. The role of the eyepiece is that it mangnifies the image. A reflecting telescope can be made bigger in size as compared to the refracting telescope.
